Bingo Varieties
Other Bingo Varieties
After playing bingo online you’ll find that most the rooms only cover the popular 90, 75 and 80 ball bingo games. However there are a range of other lesser known bingo games and varieties around the world. For your benefit we’ve listed all of the well-known bingo games and rules here.
Cover All Bingo
At most online bingo sites you will see something called a “coverall jackpot”. The objective of these games is to mark down every number in a 75 ball bingo game. Coverall jackpots can be life-changing and reach up to £2 million online; unfortunately though most bingo sites have strict limits on coverall jackpots whereby you have to win in 41 balls or less.
U-Pick’Em Bingo
In U-Pick’Em Bingo, players choose their own numbers and position on the cards before any numbers are drawn. It is very similar to Keno and the lottery. The advantage to this game is that it gives players a chance to “predict” or use their own lucky numbers to influence the outcome of the game.
Quick Shot Bingo
In Quick Shot Bingo players purchase sealed bingo cards whose numbers have already been pre-drawn. In the UK this is virtually identical to instant-win scratch cards where you know whether or not you’ve won a prize straight away. Some versions of Quick Shot bingo are played until a player wins the top prize – which can take up to several weeks or months. After a winner is announced, new numbers of pre-drawn and the prizes are re-set.
Bonanza Bingo
This is a progressive jackpot game whereby the prize increases as more players purchase tickets to the game. In Bonanza Bingo, 43 numbers of pre-drawn and player purchase sealed cards just like Quick Shot Bingo. At a designated time the caller asks if anyone has Bingo. If no one does, then the caller draws one more ball and this continues until there’s a winner.
